MARATHON OF THE ALPES-MARITIMES 2024: GET READY, GO!
This year again, the Alpes-Maritimes Marathon will connect Nice and Cannes. Since 2008, this event has attracted runners from all over the world. More than 175,000 participants from 70 nations have taken on this challenge.
The start will take place on November 3rd at 8 AM at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, and the finish line will be on the Croisette in Cannes, in front of the Hotel Martinez.
THE PROPOSED EVENTS
- Marathon: A 42.195 km route along the Côte d’Azur.
- 2 x 21.1 km: A duo race, each participant running half of the marathon.
- Relay 1: Nice - Antibes
- Relay 2: Antibes - Cannes
- 20 km: A race ending at the Marina Baie des Anges in Villeneuve-Loubet.
- Marathon Relay: For teams of 3 to 6 runners, with 5 relay points.
- Handisport Race: Early start at 7:57 AM, with a specific ranking.
ANECDOTE
The blue line on the ground indicates the optimal route. This 16th edition celebrates the iconic blue color of the Côte d’Azur.
LAST TRAINING
The Breakfast Run gathers between 200 and 300 runners for a final training on the Promenade des Anglais. Free and festive, it starts at the Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée for a 4 to 5 km route.
AFTER RACE
A reception with aperitif and local specialties tasting will be held at the Palais de la Méditerranée from 5 PM to 8 PM after the race, following last year's success.
REGISTRATION
Open to all, with age limits depending on the event. Bib prices start at 32 € for the 20 km, increasing with distance. Register early for the best rates.
